Airport, port and light-rail
Bergen Airport Flesland is an international airport with good connection to several hubs in Europe. Bergen airport is the second largest airport in Norway and the main airport for the west coast and today it serves more than 6 million passengers a year.
A new airport terminal will be finished in August 2017 and will effectively meet the needs of the population of Western Norway and Bergen, industry as well as tourism.
The Bergen light-rail system will be integrated into the terminal building and have a terminus on the lower floor, and make it easy to get to the city centre.
The Port of Bergen
The Port of Bergen is a modern hub handling all types of cargo, and is renowned for its excellent facilities combined with professional and rapid service. The port is the natural starting point, and the most cost-effective alternative, for distribution of goods to and from Western Norway. It is a crucial supply base for offshore installations in the North Sea. The port offers ice-free conditions in winter and the port has no tidal restrictions.
The Port of Bergen offers 24-hour loading and unloading. Excellent storage capacity is available, also for long-term storage. An extensive network of goods and service suppliers is available to meet any service and equipment requirements.

Leading cruise port in Norway
Bergen is also the leading cruise port in Norway, with around 330 cruise ship calls bringing more than 500,000 cruise passengers per year.
Train to Oslo
There is a good train connection between Bergen and Oslo. The train passes the Hardangervidden mountain, a is therefore a unic experience.
Ferry to Denmark
Bergen has a good ferry connection with Denmark.
